Leslie J. Bonci, MPH, RD, CSSD, is the owner of Active Eating Advice – Be fit, fed and fearless! – a nutrition consulting company. She is a nutrition consultant for individuals as well as sports teams and industry clients. She was the sports dietitian for the Pittsburgh Steelers for 24 years, and has also worked with the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Washington Nationals, and the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.
She is the author of Sport Nutrition for Coaches and the American Dietetic Association Guide to Better Digestion and co-author of Run Your Butt Off, Walk Your Butt Off, the Active Calorie Diet and Bike Your Butt Off. She is also a blogger for US News and World Report Eat + Run, and has a weekly television segment – The Winning Plate on KDKA-TV, Pittsburgh Today Live show. Leslie also has a weekly radio spot on KDKA-radio.
Leslie is an adjunct instructor in the school of dental medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and lectures extensively at universities and corporations. Nancy Clark, MS, RD, CSSD, renowned author and board-certified specialist in sports dietetics, is known for her ability to translate the science of nutrition for exercise and health into practical tips to enhance performance, manage weight, and resolve eating disorders. She has a private practice in the Boston-area (Newton, MA), where she offers nutrition consultations to both casual exercisers and competitive athletes. Her more renowned clients have included members of the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Celtics, and many collegiate, elite, and Olympic athletes from a variety of sports.
