Thomas H. Brown (in his own words): “64 year old lifelong mover, born and raised in Duquesne Heights in a loving Irish Catholic household. 12 years at St Mary of the Mount and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. I was a gandy dancer, railroad engineer (proud union member and officer of div 370 of the BLE), bulk mailing warehouse line worker, stage hand and finally a warehouse supervisor. I have been an avid reader my entire life.

Tom Brown is involved with the Thomas Brown Alton Foundation (a Birmingham Foundation Fund), which organizes the annual WALKATOP Urban Hiking Adventure in Emerald View Park on Mount Washington (Pittsburgh, PA).  This year’s event will be held on September 16, 2018. Proceeds from WALKATOP benefit the Thomas Brown Alton Foundation, which is dedicated to suicide prevention by helping those in need toward improved mental health.

Terra Brozowski has been actively involved in fitness from a young age. Terra graduated from Florida State University and received her J.D. from Duquesne University school of Law. She branched out from her law career as an International tax attorney to simultaneously pursue her passions for fitness. In 2009 she opened her own personal training studio, terraFITNESS, located in the Shadyside/East Side part of the city.

“I derive enormous satisfaction from the work I do with my clients. Seeing the improvements they are able to make in their health and fitness is one of the great joys of my life.”

Terra received her certification through the National Strength & Conditioning Association, one of the country’s most respected associations for trainers. A former competitive tennis player, she helped coach the Chatham University Women’s Tennis Team to their best finish in school history. Terra is also an avid cyclist, runner and overall lover of the outdoors. And not to forget, her studio mascot, Rooney the Bernese Mountain Dog.

He serves on the Board of Directors for Bike Share Pittsburgh, Inc., a nonprofit organization that operates the HealthyRide bike sharing network, and is a member of the Executive Leadership Council of the American Diabetes Association, for which he organizes the annual Tour de Cure Gran Fondo. Rick is also the President of the La Prima Espresso Co. Cycling Team and sits on the Board of Directors of the Allegheny Cycling Association.
