Podcast 35:18 Reed Putlitz- REED&CO




A graduate of the University of Oregon, Reed Putlitz participated in one of the first Wieden + Kennedy internship programs, creating advertising and marketing work for Nike and others. Inspired by the advertising being created by Marc Jacobs and Jurgen Teller, Reed moved to NYC and went to work for Robert Duffy, Marc Jacobs’ co-founder and business partner. Over nearly 12 years at Marc Jacobs, Reed developed numerous new departments and internal teams for the brand. As the Director of Visual Merchandising, Reed opened 26 domestic and international retail locations. From 2010 through 2104, Reed served as Design Director for Special Projects and Collaborations where he led concept and product design and collaborated with a diverse range of artists and brands for international retail and online projects. In 2016, Reed opened the healthy lifestyle brand REED&CO in Pittsburgh, PA.

Sean Brady
is the Executive Director of Hollow Oak Land Trust, a conservation organization that protects and connects greenspace in the Pittsburgh International Airport Corridor. With a BA in Biology from Allegheny College and an MA in Professional Writing from Carnegie Mellon University, Sean helped build Venture Outdoors as a regional leader in outdoor recreation from its inception in 2001 to 2010. He also served as Development Director for Riverlife, supporting sustainable riverfront development in downtown Pittsburgh. Currently, Sean manages the six conservation areas owned by Hollow Oak Land Trust and works with municipalities and private landowners to develop greenways in the airport corridor.

Lynn Rescigno 
is a Yoga teacher, a classical Pilates teacher at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT) School, and a modern dancer.  Lynn practices Ashtanga yoga, Iyengar yoga and is a Jivamukti yoga teacher, who has worked under the guidance of Sharon Gannon and David Life since 1999. She has studied the works of the Krishnamacharya Lineage with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, TKV Desikachar, Tim Miller, David Swenson, Richard Freeman and many senior teachers under BKS Iyengar.  A graduate of Point Park College, Lynn was a professional modern dancer with many companies in both NYC and Pittsburgh.  She enjoys teaching yoga to people of all walks of life. Lynn also teaches a 200-Hour Classical Yoga Teacher Training at BYS Yoga in Pittsburgh; the next training class will begin in September 2018.
